Solaris expands its presence in Europe with sales teams in four further countries. The innovative bus and tram builder now directly serves customers in the Benelux countries and in Slovakia.
In Belgium and Luxembourg, Solaris is represented by Bus & Coach Trading SA. Managing Director Pascal Debaille is an experienced bus industry professional who spent many years selling buses and coaches for a major European brand in both countries.
Solaris’s agent in the Netherlands is MTC Groep BV, a provider of services to Dutch public transport fleet operators that now broadens its portfolio by working with Solaris. At MTC, Hüseyin Taskent and Nelson Gutierrez will sell Solaris vehicles.

In Slovakia, Solaris has already supplied fleets in cities such as Bratislava and Košice, but customers were served from the Czech Republic. The growing success in the Slovakian market is now underscored with the opening of a local sales subsidiary, Solaris Slovakia s.r.o. It is managed by Lubomír Melichar, whose previous experience in the bus industry includes work for Košice City Transport, where he ran Solaris low-floor city buses.
