The Solaris Urbino 10,5 electric has been awarded the Kielce Trade Fair Medal in the “Buses” category at this year’s TRANSEXPO 2026 International Fair of Public Transport. The jury recognized Solaris’ latest electric model for combining compact dimensions, high passenger capacity, and a towerless drive design. Solaris also received an award for its exhibition stand.
At this year’s TRANSEXPO 2026 International Fair of Public Transport in Kielce, Solaris received the Kielce Trade Fair Medal in the “Buses” category. The award went to the Urbino 10,5 electric, the latest addition to the manufacturer’s electric portfolio, showcased in Poland for the first time.
The Solaris Urbino 10,5 electric is built on Solaris’ standardized platform for zero-emission vehicles. Eliminating the traditional engine tower allows for more efficient use of interior space, giving the model the highest passenger capacity in its class. At the same time, its compact dimensions and a turning radius of less than 17 meters ensure excellent maneuverability.

At TRANSEXPO 2026, Solaris also received an award for its exhibition stand, where the manufacturer is showcasing two of the latest models from its zero-emission portfolio: the award-winning Urbino 10,5 electric and the new-generation Urbino 12 hydrogen.
The Kielce Trade Fair Medal is the latest in a series of awards presented to Solaris buses at TRANSEXPO. In 2024, the Urbino 18 hydrogen, previously named Bus of the Year 2025, won the award in the “Buses” category. In 2022, the Kielce Trade Fair Medal went to the Urbino 18,75 electric. Solaris has also received awards at earlier editions of the fair.
