Solaris is presenting its latest battery-electric midibus, the Urbino 10,5 electric, at Next Mobility Milano 2026. The event, dedicated to practical solutions in public transport electrification and charging infrastructure, provides an important platform for showcasing the latest developments in sustainable mobility.
Next Mobility Milano is steadily strengthening its position in the European trade fair calendar. Deeply rooted in the Italian market, it focuses on real-world challenges and implementation aspects of public transport – from fleet electrification and charging infrastructure to digitalisation and the integration of mobility systems. Taking place from 13 to 16 May 2026, the event in Milan brings together industry professionals to exchange knowledge and experience. At Next Mobility 2026, Solaris is presenting its electric newcomer – the Urbino 10,5 electric.
The compact midibus on display in Milan has been designed for routes where a standard 12-metre vehicle is not always the optimal solution. At 10.5 metres in length, it combines high manoeuvrability with strong passenger capacity and full operational functionality. The vehicle is based on Solaris’ modular drive concept, enabling efficient integration of drivetrain components and eliminating the traditional rear engine tower. This layout maximises passenger space and allows up to 85 passengers to be carried, including up to 33 seated – one of the highest capacities in the midibus segment. A turning radius of under 17 metres makes the Urbino 10,5 electric particularly well suited for dense urban environments, historic city centres and feeder routes.
The bus is equipped with a 240 kW electric motor and high energy-density batteries with a capacity of up to 400 kWh, enabling full-day operation without intermediate charging. It supports both plug-in and pantograph charging. The vehicle complies with the latest GSR2 safety regulations and can be equipped with additional driver assistance systems. It also features an energy-efficient CO₂ heat pump. The Solaris Urbino 10,5 electric produces no local emissions and operates with reduced noise levels, contributing to improved air quality and greater comfort in urban environments.
We invite you to visit Solaris at stand B02 C11 in Hall 9 during Next Mobility Milano from 13 to 16 May 2026.
